So party on all you Americans who will hear the reading of the Declaration today and think "right to alter of abolish government??" What a concept!  And party on all of you worldwide who will hear it or figure it out someday.  Just like in the movie, one day July 4th may become a worldwide holiday.  When the alien centralist tyrants are finally deprived of their power.

Sunspot maximum finally upon us

It's been a smaller sunspot cycle, with fewer sunspots and solar flares, and more ups and downs in their numbes.  But it's finally reaching it's maximum. Though, as the video below states, lots of big solar flares can keep shooting out in the months after the height, as the cycle goes back down. What does it mean to human behavior and politics as of June 12, 2014? The biggest story - beside real live Nazis backing a new oligarch taking over Ukraine - is the aftermath of US aggression vs. Afghanistan and Iraq. That happened during the winding down stage of the last sunspot cycle during 2001-2003. This cycle now energizes the new Al-Queda-like grouping called ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) which was first mobilized by US attacks on Iraq and meddling in Syria, supporting violent revolution.  ISIS now is taking over more of those two countries every day, as city after city falls. (Map below as of June 2014 shows what they've conquered in red.)

Sure these poor oppressed people had despots before (Saddam and al-Assad, the father and son), but at least they didn't enslave women in burqas and summarily kill anyone who didn't kiss their asses in proper Jihadi fashion.  "Freedom" imposed by foreigners only empowers the most fanatical elements.  People have to free themselves and inspiring them is the best way to do.  End US Imperialism, don't pretend it's a vehicle for freedom. (Hear that just defeated House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, the militarists' best friend??)

Not feminine enough? You Must Have Sex Change Operation!!!

Excellent video. Glad she realized the truth - you don't have to have a sex change operation just because you are a "butch lesbian" - before it was too late and she had any operations. It's incredible hearing from young women the new mind fuck imposed on women today.

When I was young it was just an insult to say you weren't feminine enough. Today, it's a command that you change your sex to male so that some males don't have to put up with any females who aren't feminine enough! Or who are butch lesbians. Un-fucking believable.

Don't even get me started on the rising realization among tens of thousands of feminists - transgenderism is just another patriarchal plot against women. Male to female transgenders being real strong censors to keep women-born women in line, since evidently the female censors haven't been up to the job! You males who support such B.S. have just gone too far this time! Females who go along with it are just getting scammed by patriarchs.

Twenty years ago transvestism and transgenderism seemed like fun and entertaining options for free spirits - now the latter especially has become one more tool of patriarchal oppression. Bummer!

Getting younger - or older - or Enlightened?

Geez, have I gotten so young and hip I can't form a thought that takes more than the number of characters in a Tweet - or has facebook distilled any analysis into "sharing" others' comments on barely relevant photos? In other words have I joined the younger generation? Or am I just too senile at 66 to form my own complete thoughts? Or am I too busy doing SOMETHING that is about to burst upon the world stage like the biggest meteor of enlightenment ever?  Time will tell.  Meanwhile some stuff I picked up since last time I blogged.

Is it spring yet?

Been cuddling under the covers with lower life forms, drinking hot choclate and coffee, and dismissing every blog post thought that came to mind this snowy winter. But we've had two warmish days in a row, the trees are budding, the pollen is attacking, and it's time to show a sign of life, before I get too bogged down in yard work.  Unwritten blog entry titles with funny saved facebook photos will have to make up for last couple months:
* Free Crimea!! - From Ukraine and Russia, if it decides it wants out. But reparations for anyone driven off their land who can still identify it; and either general amnesty or trials for all murdering/torturing govt officials, no matter their party or nationality. (And western world, please stop supporting the fascist Right Sector!!)
* Free RT!! Russia Today TV Network was more fun before Putin became President again in 2013 - but what do you expect Russia to do in self-defense with US imperialist surrounding them with nukes and/or missile defense systems??  Imperialism breeds imperialism.

* Tough to be a woman - say the transgender males to females who fully have transitioned. "I didn't know how much more respect I got as a male! No one listens to me. They blame me for things they guys screw up. It's unbelievable!!" Welcome to the club, former boys...but mess with me in the women's room and you'll get a kick in whatever's left down there now... Sorry, if female self-defense against rapists bothers you, old Chip.

* Geez, those sunspots! The number of sunspots is relatively low this cycle (bottom line in purple shows where we are as of March 2014). Nevertheless there are lots of riots and revolutions going on worldwide this fall and winter (not to mention last 3 years since cycle went up again).  Of course, height of sunspot cycles often are followed by big economic recessions, as people burn out from their economic exuberance and going into debt, so we'll see what happens. (The 2008 recession was a result of all the spending G.W. Bush did to get out of the recession after 2000 height of sunspot cycle! So next should be even worse. You read it here - 3/29/14.)

* Free the Republican Party - from the necons and let the Rand Paul-ian quasi-libertarians take over. Then all the Rand-Palian quasi-libertarians infiltrating the Libertarian Party can go back where they belong.

* Missing Malaysian flight - is it about ratings or HOPING terrorists did it? Oh, terrorists are about ratings too - and bigger government, you big-government-regulated mainstream media dummies...

* Never move near a big cliff - Like right below a 600 foot cliff that might collapse any minute and then did. If people speculate it looks like terrorism, you'll get more media than you want for your tragedy.

* Happy Irish Freedom Day!

It was fifty years ago today...

Well, sometime in the last three weeks, fifty years ago, anyway. That's when I became a BEATLEMANIAC!  At the age of 16, in 1964, I saw them twice in person, in Atlantic City and New York City.  (My younger sister loved Paul; I loved John. Our loves propelled us to get our tickets in a timely fashion.) My story ended up in in the book WE"RE GOING TO SEE THE BEATLES. (See my video below or biography mention. Enjoy my Faux Beatles music creation created before Youtube let you put in copyrighted music; guess I could change it now...)  

1964 also was the year I read Ayn Rand for the first time and rejected the Patriarch God. Of course around the same time, on a spring evening filled with essence of life, I had an experience that all reality was alive and connected. And the Beatles made me appreciate the truth of that. Between the three experiences, that was the end of Catholicism for me! 

Well, who knows how many more years I have in this body. Maybe on this 50th anniversary I'll get my butt moving and get serious about making the revolution. Yoo Ha!!

Getting fat and fading away??

Sign of life...The video below reminded me how my life style (housework, pet care, eating too many goodies, watching too much TV and doing too much internet spatting) is turning me into a dull chubby old lady of 65. This video reminded me I'm really a fabulous fashionista with closets and boxes filled with gorgeous thrift shop items that will look so good when I get below 180 lbs. (Luckily my face skin is still gorgeous.) Carol, visualize your new life... and maybe you'll even start sharing those brilliant thoughts you have 8 - 10 times a day with the world! Not to mention kicking its butt into a higher state of consciousness. I want to go back to those tight black pants days! Ooo, la la! Plus a relevant song from my favorite quartet, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse of Love...

Of course, the crony capitalists who work with greedy politicians and bureaucrats will try to find a way to squeeze out the voluntary sector (profit or nonprofit) so the 1% can jack up prices.... So many wonderful alternatives like this have been squashed before...

Why patriarchy is doomed: Nada Al-Ahdal

I didn't hear about 11 year old Yemeni Nada Al-Ahdal's video saying she escaped her parents who wanted to marry her off to old men and moved to the city with her uncle. The I heard CNN and other reports that there were questions about whether she was telling the whole truth. Maybe it was only talk. Maybe she just wanted to be in a girl band and get an education and be free of the restraints of her patriarchal culture.  

Good for you, Nada!!  Nada para los patriarcas!!! (Nothing for the patriarchs!)  There was a family counseling session and the family is moving to the city where she can be assured of being saved from 50 year old pervert husbands. So many brilliant your girls being crushed... not to mention all of us old ones. But we'll keep on fighting anyway. 

The confusing message of "Cloud Atlas"

I finally got around to watching the film Cloud Atlas, curious to see how it would play the reincarnation and related themes. It was a tad bit better at making clear it was a reincarnation film than the vastly superior "Groundhog Day."  Groundhog Day made it clear that the process in question was growing and changing. Cloud Atlas emphasized that our actions today affect the whole future of humanity. Both are more true than not...

Of course, I'd have to watch it again to figure out how that happens with the plot and characters. If it had anything to do with one's past lives influencing one's current life, or even the evolution of one's relationships with others from life to life.  

Now a days half the films made have so much whispering and background noise and confusing action, it takes more than one viewing to figure out what is going on.  I think they do it to make you watch the film at least twice to figure out what the heck's going on, bringing in more money to their coffers. Extra benefit, the film doesn't have to be so good you'll want to watch it twice! In this case confusion probably resulted more from from trying to put a big, confusing book into a 2.5 hour movie. This review tries to make sense of it all. And I am tempted to read the novel to see if it's more coherent.

But not if the below quotes - gathered from Wikiquotes - are the rather confused message of the novel, as well as the film.  See my comments about them. Below that a video of the characters and of the "John Galt"-type ideological speech at the end - but blessedly shorter.

Absurd...

I'm all for guilty verdicts when it's justified for the crime in question. Say involuntary manslaughter. Though not for long prison sentences unless the individual is a psychopathic repeat offender.  Trayvon Martin is dead for being pissed at being followed by a creepy guy. Marissa Alexander is in prison for twenty years for shooting into a ceiling. Being African-American in America is still a crime, evidently.  Ask the tens of thousands in jails and prisons for "crimes" that whites are convicted of far less frequently.

Looting the Giant Supermarkets

Standing in line at the grocery story Sunday, not paying much attention to my surroundings, I suddenly heard the checker in the next line saying loud - "They just ran out with their cart and didn't pay!" (They pretended they were waiting for a friend with the money for their filled up cart, but probably called to make sure the car was there for a getaway.)

I missed the action, but it certainly felt like a scene out of a catastrophe movie where people fill up their carts and some just run out, looter style.

That night, coincidentally, I read about a Church of England vicar who opined at a meeting with government officials that maybe it wasn't such a big deal if poor people stole food from Giant supermarkets.  He was banned from the priesthood almost immediately.

Yesterday, sitting around the doctors office with a dozen mostly overweight people like me, I watched several well dressed young drug pushers walking in and out like Princes and Princesses, barely announcing themselves to the receptionist. I wondered: hmmm, could it be drug companies own food companies to insure we're all poisoned with fast and crappy food so we are sick and need their drugs. Googled relevant terms and low and behold, CBS and ABC reported that drug companies and insurance companies invest billions in such companies.

Watched the film City of God yesterday and the reality of grinding poverty and crime as a way some ambitious or desperate or angry people choose to survive.  It's an ugly world out there, I'm afraid.  And current churches and states only add to the ugliness.

I have a lot of my previously used personal aphorisms (short catchy phrases) I could throw in right now, but maybe when I come up with a more effective and enlightening one, I'll add it here...

New terrorist tactic - calling the wrong number...

The Edward Snowden leak of more evidence the government is spying on everyone (DUH!) probably gave overseas terrorists a great idea of how to spread chaos through America.  Using your pre-paid cell phone, call up thousands of Americans a day from downtown (name your favorite city filled with alleged terrorists) and tell them something cryptic that the government is sure is related to terrorism, hang up, throw it into a dump truck heading to the dump, and let the investigations and persecutions begin!!
