Thanks to Tim Hawkins comedy... Yoo Ha!! The people is rising....
However, contrary to the macho female speaker in the video below: NO, there does NOT have to be bloodshed to make Secession happen - not if you do it NON-violently and only among those who want to secede, not forcing anyone who does not want to. See Secession.net.
I report on how consciousness and community are transcending god and state, locally in Washington, DC, and globally, where ever I see progress - or backsliding, including on the feminist front! A Brave Woman on Women's Equality Day
Congratulations to Cindy Sheehan for spending Women's Equality Day (89 years since women got the vote in the U.S.) on Martha's Vinyard telling Barak Obama he's only marginally better than George Bush on peace issues - and a bunch of others.

Yes, I was invited to Woodstock
It was August of 1969. I was living in Cambridge, MA, starting my 9 month career as a pot smoking love child. But I wasn't quite hippy enough to accept the invitation of a couple of guys to go to some music concert way the hell across Massachusetts and into New York State. Never having gone camping - or had much of a desire to do so - I just wasn't motivated. And that's how I never made it the 1969 Woodstock Festival which we're all reminiscing about this weekend!
